Bigfoot Attacks!

I’m watching the Hulu documentary Sasquatch right now, which so far has been pretty interesting, and got me thinking how many times has Sasquatch or Bigfoot been the named suspect or unwilling catalyst of a crime? Anywhere from he stole my homework to major crime he’s made a fairly good suspect for the “prove I’m lying” theory.

In the Hulu documentary he is blamed for savage murders in the Squatch and pot farm capital of the US. But, what other types of incidents has his name been dragged through the mud on? I found this gem digging around this morning.

According to NewsOn6.com in Oregon, Rogers County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at the scene of a shooting to learn the suspected shooter and the shootee had been on a Sasquatch hunt when one man heard a “barking noise,” which frightened him – as one might expect when one is hunting large, hairy, mythical creatures in the dead of night – which caused him to jerk and shoot his friend in the back.

This guy is using the new “Sasquatch scared the shit out of me” defense. It’s actually a pretty good plan, an accident, it was an just an “accident”. Everyone has that one friend you want to go “hunting” with, right? If you’re a Bigfoot researcher you could totally use this excuse. I mean no one will ever go Bigfooting with you again, but now you don’t have to have that awkward “I don’t want to be your friend anymore” speech.

Here’s another interesting tale…

“The witness who talked to the missing man and child, went on to state that Fullmer told her he was “tripping out all night and could hear things but didn’t know what they were”; Fullmer also told her “Bigfoot had waved at them and bears paraded for [the 5-year-old boy] to keep him calm,” deputies said.

Fullmer told the witness that “they slept under a skidsteer,” and that when Fullmer and the boy were leaving the woods, he had the boy shake a tree (like Bigfoot) so they could be found, according to the complaint. The man was charged with child endangerment”

Although Bigfoot wasn’t charged with anything here, and may have actually been a hero. Dancing and prancing to Bare Necessities so the boy wouldn’t be scared, and most likely the one teaching an invaluable skill of tree shaking, he still got his hairy ass involved, however indirectly with a crime.

He’s such an easy fall guy, he makes himself a perfect target, first with that whole “Green Wall” bullshit, never ratting out another Bigfoot, or coming forward as a witness to probably hundreds of murders out there in the forest. His hiding out from us, leaves him vulnerable, and we can blame him for whatever we want.

I hope wherever he is, he can peek in a window and watch Hulu and other docs about him and maybe decide to come forward to set the story straight for all of it. Till then…

“I’m sorry officer, I know I was going a hundred, but I was trying to get away, did you see the huge ass ape thingy chasing me!’

It’s going to work too, he can’t prove it wasn’t there. 😉

Enjoy your day everyone….

Dover Demon Appearance?

On April 21, 1977, the sightings of something otherworldly forever changed a small suburb here in Boston, Mass. that night four teens witnessed a creature they couldn’t explain which later was labeled the Dover Demon. Their descriptions and accounts seemed to confirm there was a new resident in Dover.
I’ve flip flopped a lot on my opinion of what the Dover Demon could be. Something new or a visitor from above. Its description is so closely compared to that of the grays that I tend to lean towards alien.
I’m sure like Bigfoot, they probably would like to roam around undetected but also like Bigfoot, sometimes they get caught unawares. And below is an eyewitness account of a creature that to me, fits the Dover Demon’s description.
This eyewitness account is from the editor of Washington Trails Association Magazine. And it was originally featured in their article titled Things That Go Bump in the Woods, By Tami Asars. Check it out and let me know what you think.

It was late in the evening when Eli Boschetto and his wife, Mitzi, pulled into a campground in Northern California’s redwoods. The forest seemed to enjoy a sinister game, as chilly coastal fog mixed with campfire smoke swirled through the trees, casting strange shadows in the canopy and undergrowth. Tired, they found a spot to set up camp under the lights of their car’s head lamps. In the distance, muffled voices and laughter from unseen campers wafted through the filtered darkness. Focused on getting an early start the next morning, they opted to skip a campfire and went about bedtime routines.

Conveniently, the restrooms were only about 100 yards down the road, a short walk for washing up before retiring. With bag in hand, Eli set off down the black pavement, his headlamp’s light reflecting off the drifting smoke and fog. Suddenly a movement caught his eye.

At the side of the road, something stood there looking at him. Through the haze and darkness, he tried to discern what the creature was before him. It stood about 2 feet in height, completely gray, with a large round head and curious eyes. “It must be a raccoon,” he thought

But … no. There was no mask. And no fur. And no tail! The creature cocked its head, looking back. Eli took a tentative step closer to get a better look. The creature withdrew slightly, peering cautiously back. What was this thing?

Time seemed to halt as the two stared at one another. Remembering his head lamp, Eli reached up to set the light brighter. The movement startled the creature, and Eli particularly noticed that the creature walked off on two legs, dissolving into the misty, shadowy darkness.

Every hair on his arms and neck was electrified, and chills ran down his spine. What had he just seen? He scanned the underbrush with his head lamp, seeking to comprehend what he’d just witnessed, but the small, gray, upright creature with no fur and no tail was nowhere to be seen. Had he just seen an alien?

It was a sleepless night, as every creak and crack in their pitch-black tent seemed to alert him to the possible presence of interstellar beings, watching them from the woods nearby …

Human Engine…

Art by Shirley McDaniels

“How can we co-exist?

If you can’t respect…

Respect this

My home

Your Forest, my home

You can’t expect me to keep wandering

Never to be with my peoples

Just keep wandering alone

You think it’s wonderful

that you may have found my nest

Not a scientific find,

it’s the place I stop, the place I rest

I keep going further in and further in

To stay out if your species ever expanding way

But you just keep coming and coming at me

Every. Single. Day.

My guttural call out

Telling you how scared and stressed I am,

to just please keep away

But you’re oblivious

So you knock and knock

And you keep coming anyway

So co-exit? I don’t think so

You want it all, the greed, your ego

Would that you could go your own way

and that I could go mine

But the engine keeps coming

Cutting through the forest,

like you’re chopping out a mine

The hum of that never ending engine

grinding and grinding

Taking it all In your human way

The way of mankind, yes, taking it all

Don’t leave nothing behind

And force me and mine out of safety,

out of hiding…”

Bigfoot of the 70s…#1

In the 70s Bigfoot was all that and a bag of chips. Many sightings reported and many movies and documentaries were made. The In Search Of Bigfoot episode is what most Bigfoot researchers claimed started them on this path.

But it was just documentaries that he starred in, he was a cash cow, the used the band Kiss’s marketing plan and put him on everything and everywhere.

So I thought I’d start a little Bigfoot of the 70s series and bring us all back in time. For this first in the series. I stumbled on a TV Guide listing of himself starring in an episode of Six Million Dollar Man. It will bring back all the love and nostalgia you have just reading it

He was in three episodes, one episode starring Andre The Giant! Too cool, am I right? The remaining played by Ted Cassidy, Lurch from The Addams Family, which is almost as good). I’m sure if you were watching back then it was absolutely epic! Look at all the wonderful company he was listed with.

Season three episode 16, the two part episode titled, The Secret of Bigfoot is thought to be the most popular one. And eventually inspired a book of the same title and lots of merchandise. If you own the Bigfoot action figure from the show, then you are envied by all. Including me.

This two-part episode was released as a theatrical film in many parts of Europe, North America (Mexico), and South America as well, it was truly loved by the world over.

The best thing is you can still watch it today! A tip from a follower told me that you can watch them on the NBC APP. Here is the link if you’d like to travel back in time to when everyone had long hair and sideburns and you tripped over the hem of everyone’s bell bottoms…

Bigfoot in the News #5…Mysteries and Monsters

“If you’ve taken home movies of Bigfoot, the monster that roams the Northwest, it could be worth more than 10,000 to you. Producer David Wolper, will pay at least that much for usable footage in his new dramatized documentary Bigfoot. The Mysterious Monster.”

The Nashua Tribune,

September 12th, 1975

The Mysterious Monsters was the first movie to feature the home movie taken by Roger Patterson in 1967 reported to show a Bigfoot. Anthropologist Grover Krantz was interviewed and said he believed the film to be authentic. Famed Bigfoot hunter Peter Byrne was also featured and gave insights on the hunt. Robert and Frances Guenette are credited as the authors of a 160-page book adaption of the film.

The film was later featured in an episode of Cinema Insomnia.

The Black Shuck

The Black Shuck, Shuck coming from the old English word for devil or fiend and is essentially considered a nocturnal specter from the folklore of the British Isles.

It was first recorded in print in a 1850, journal titled the Notes and Queries which describes “Shuck the Dog-fiend”; “This phantom I have heard many persons in East Norfolk, and even Cambridgeshire, describe as having seen as a black shaggy dog, with fiery eyes and of immense size, and who visits churchyards at midnight.”

It’s appearance was regarded as a portent of death, it is generally supposed to be larger than a physical dog with glowing eyes, it is often associated with electrical storms, crossroads, places of execution and ancient pathways.

Black dogs are almost universally thought of as malevolent, although few are held to be directly harmful. However this witnesses sighting believes if not for the Shuck, he may not be here now.

“ I saw one and it was no dog and definitely not a wolf because no wolves live anywhere near me,it looked just like this drawing, other then the eye shape and no dog or wolf could vanish like that in thin air. If you read other legends they are protectors of children and women… if there a warning of death, why warn you if you cant change it…..? because the secound I saw it a car sped past me by an inch (the driver told me to go ahead to cross, you know the drivers who only move when you start crossing) if I didnt stop to stare at that black shuck for those few seconds, then I would have stepped out and been run over or at least my foot, I belive it was a shuck that saved me”

One of its earliest encounters comes from an incident at the Peterborough Abbey. It was recorded in 1127 and one of its most notable ones is an appearance is at the churches of Bungay and Blythbourgh in Suffolk on August 4th 1577. The Black Shuck was said to have burst in through the doors of the church, it sounded like a clap of thunder. It ran past a large congregation, killing a man and boy and causing the church steeple to collapse through the roof. As the dog left, he left scorch marks on the north door which can be seen at the church to this day.

I’m not sure about Black Shucks motives here, but black dogs seen in church yards is thought to be to guard the church from an evil befalling it, and some churches were said to bury a black dog alive on the corners of its property for that reason. So guardians and protectors or evil hell hounds and portent of doom probably depended on when and where you saw them and it’s appearance but either way I’m not messing with any black dogs I’m England…

So, what are my thoughts on the Shuck? Well in history black animals have had some mystical beliefs surround them, ravens, black cats, etc. so I can imagine they would be afraid of a black dog wandering in a church yard or cemetery as well. We still to this day are superstitious about black cats. And as for wether or not it could be a spectral? Since I lived in a haunted house for 20 years I can believe a ghostly dog may roam about.

There is a lot of energy, good and bad floating around this planet It’s not hard to believe it is possible to manifest itself in different ways. Who knows? There have been many witnesses to keep this lore alive through generations to come…

Trees Or Not Two Trees…

What do you see when you look at this picture, and where the arrows are directing you where to look? Don’t answer yet! Now read the following sighting report below , then look again.

David Arceneaux said he felt a chill as he looked across Block Bayou at a line of trees about 100 yards away.

“I’m not crazy. I don’t do drugs and I’m not a drinker,” Arceneaux said before telling his tale of seeing not one but two Bigfoot-like creatures huddled together one December morning.

The Nederland, Texas, native visits Oak Bluff Cemetery about once a month to clean the graves of a friend and a cousin, something he has done for years without incident. But on an overcast, windless day, Arceneaux said he got the fright of his life.

“I heard a blood-curdling scream and a lady nearby asked me if I was OK. I told her it wasn’t me,” Arceneaux said. “We walked over to the water and looked to the left then straight ahead.”

He said what he saw next amazed him. Two Bigfoot-like creatures who had been throwing rocks in the water looked across at him and the unknown female. One was standing next to a tree, arms around the trunk and the other was squatted down. As the second creature rose from the crouching position Arceneaux estimated the creature was about eight-foot tall. So he snapped a photo with his phone, he said.

“All of a sudden they started walking then running through the woods,” he said of the bipedal creatures. “When they began to run, the lady said ‘I’m leaving’ and left. I stayed a few more seconds and then thought there may be a way for them to cross here so I left, scared.”

Arceneaux said he could see the face of the creature “clear as day.” There was hair from the mouth down like a man and when the creature turned he could see hair hanging down its arm.”

Now go back again and look at the picture. Do you see anything different? Did you opinion on the picture change at all when you looked again?

For some, your opinion probably didn’t change, but for others? Well they may have seen two Bigfoot standing under those arrows (Arrows were already there). The reason I put you all through that little exercise is because, when you’re in that situation and have had an encounter that overwhelming you are likely to see Bigfoot because it’s on your mind at the time and likely always on your mind. I haven’t had that experience yet I admit, but I would imagine it’s pretty traumatizing and that I would probably see Bigfoot in my toast as well.

So although my opinion of the above is trees, it does not mean he’s faking the picture or trying to hoax you etc. He may actually see Bigfoot in that picture. He was there we were not. When you’re in that situation you have a completely different perspective. It’s funny, most all agree Bigfoot can most likely blend well into his environment and that, that is why he is able remain elusive and disappear back into the forest a second, but yet if someone shows a possible example of that, we all yell trees!

The purpose of writing this post was to explain that when you are in the woods vulnerable and you see this creature I think you could get a form of PTSD from it and everything you see then comes up Bigfoot.

So when we analyze these kinds of hinky questionable looking photos on the internet let that person down with respect. Don’t always believe they are hoaxing you from the start, because you never truly know. If they believe it’s actually Bigfoot then they are not trying to hoax. So when you get ready to type “trees”, type kindly, we will never truly know what they thinking because we weren’t there, and just because you’re being kind with your comments and reviews it doesn’t mean you accept their picture as Bigfoot it just means you have class…

Disclaimer:

Although I believe in my opinion, that the above picture looks like trees, it does not mean I don’t believe he had an encounter or that He doesn’t believe those are Bigfoot In that picture…

Bigfoot..The Conspiracy

I was able to carve out some time to catch another Bigfoot movie this month so I picked Bigfoot…The Conspiracy. I normally never look at descriptions or reviews before I watch and review, but I admit I did cheat this time and peak at others reviews on Amazon.

The reviews were as expected from hate to enjoy but I fall to enjoy here on their scale. One reviewer said they obviously didn’t do any research because they had Bigfoot’s behavior all wrong and another said they definitely did their homework because their behavior was portrayed straight on. I literally have no idea what to say other than one of those reviewers obviously doesn’t know anything about Bigfoot. Just saying. After you see it you can choose which one you agree with.

So I put on the movie waiting to see how well the big guy ways were portrayed. I found that they definitely did some research. I mean they filmed a sequence in a Bigfoot Museum with the lead trying to do some research, so you know they did some and that scene was letting the viewers know they did.

The synopsis of the movie was that a retired Border Patrol agent went to see his In Laws to visit with his wife and is told how animals are going missing and they are hearing weird howling at night etc. so he offers to go check it all out. Now that’s one of storylines happening here. There also appears to be a shadow government experiment conspiracy happening here as well. That’s were it gets a little confusing for me. I’m not a hundred percent sure I understood what was happening with that. But it didn’t ruin the movie for me, or the ending and I’m not going to spill all the beans and ruin the movie for you.

Overall I liked this movie. I’m a huge fan of indie, as most Bigfoot movies are these days. This was another good one for me. The Big Guys costume I was not able to get a full on look at because his appearances were more shadows and subtle but it worked. Was it the best acting in the world? No, but it worked. I recommend watching it if you’re a Bigfoot enthusiast and as I always say never just go by a review you read, you should always see it for yourself because we don’t all have the same taste in films. But if you like Bigfoot I’m pretty sure you will enjoy the movie.

Let me know some of your thought about it…

Wild Woman…

The Wild Woman

“There are now only a few of the wild giants of the mountains,” said Charley, in his terse Indian dialect. “They are rarely seen and seldom met but some still live in the mountains around here. – here is one of my encounters. “I was hunting in the mountains and had my dog with me. One day I came out on a plateau where there were several big cedar-trees. The dog rushed up to one of the trees and began to growl and bark.”

“Looking up to see what had excited him, I noticed a large hole; I had heard the dog growling and barking and something was screaming. It sounded like my dog must be fighting a bear or something, I called to him and a moment later somewhere from deep in the trees came a voice.

Nearer and nearer came the voice and then out of the forest came a sasquatch woman. She was about seven feet tall, big built all over and her skin was as dark as mine; her long straight hair fell to her knees. She looked so big and strong that I am sure if she had laid hands on me, she could have broken every bone in my body. The wild woman and I stared at each other for a bit, frozen, then she turned and disappeared back into the tree line, I didn’t follow I just stood there frozen and surprised for a bit.”

My thoughts…

You don’t often hear tales of female squatch encounters, they must have a decent population of them as their species line is still continuing based on the number of sightings reported each year.

It is wonderful that our best piece of irrefutable proof is a film of a female Bigfoot. Amazing.

I’m fascinated with Native American encounters, and their beliefs of the species so I was happy to come across a few. Oh to be a fly on the wall a few 100 or even thousand years ago…

What You Need To Go Bigfooting…

I thought I’d start Thursday off to a quick refresher of techniques and equipment for us Bigfooters in the field….here we go!

• Look for Bigfoot prints (to me that’s size 6 or a above)

• Bring casting supplies (so you can leave them in a car)

. Bring your cellphone (to take the worst pictures even though you have a 10x Max cell)

. -Bring a backpack (so you can stuff it with so much 💩 you tip over)

. Know your wildlife sounds ( so you don’t chase a raccoon halfway to Texas)

• Bring night vision (so if a bear does 💩 in the woods you won’t miss it, then you can answer that mystery for us)

. Look behind you, (because he’s tailing you, not the other way around)

. Bring a weapon (so you can accidentally shoot Fred in the toe out there because he drives you nuts, and blame it on Bigfoot!)

. And lastly, for today anyway, bring your sense of humor because there’s a 90% chance we won’t find him out there, and we need to remember to enjoy our time (because chances are high that we are very lost and won’t find the damn car)

I should mention that Fred is a fictional character. And most of these accounts actually happened to me. And maybe happened to some of you too (except shooting Fred, please don’t shoot Fred).

Have an awesome morning everyone, hope I made you smile!

If you have a ridiculous moment out there feel free to share…
