Path of the Beast

I wanted to take a second and finally get to giving a review for the new Bigfoot movie by Justin Snyder Bigfoot – Path of the Beast

I really enjoyed this movie, independent films/documentaries hold a big space in my movie heart. These guys generally put a lot on the line to get in done.

Justin Snyder wore many hats in this project. Writer, director, producer, lead actor, etc but he got this movie done, and he got it done good.

I loved the opening scene, you see these beautiful swamp shots while listening to Ron Morehead’s Sierra Sounds. Very cool. It also gives nods to David Paulides and his Missing 411.

Justin himself plays John Brandon, whose out for some revenge and closure with Bigfoot. And for the first time ever to my little ears, it’s suggested that Bigfoot, being the Apex Predator that he is, could be eating us! We’re not missing…we’re what’s for dinner!

It made me pause and think about that, could they be eating us? I mean we are out there in their turf, would it be cannibalism is the question. They are the top of the food chain out there. It’s something to think about so make sure you are safe out there.

But back to the movie, I don’t want to give to much away and spoil the plot, but I’ll say this, if you like Bigfoot films you will like this one, go check it out, it’s streaming on Tubi for free right now. So go check it out, and let me know what you think…

  1. Sounds like a great plot hook. “What happens when we’re the ones on the menu? One backwoods Bigfoot Hunter was about to find out.”
