Wrentham State Forest…

I took some time out on my own to explore the forest before the rains moved in. This is the Wrentham State Forest. This forest is over 1000 acres and has some really rugged parts. It’s verrrrry rocky, so where good shoes! I’ve wrenched my ankle good out here before, it’s not well marked so try to keep track of where you are! But, it’s nice to take on a tough forest once and awhile.
This forest connects to other forest networks, including the Warner Trail a 30 mile hike from Here in mass to Rhode Island! I’ve been all through this network and I can honestly say, I’m not sure what it is about this forest but it really creeps me out, ! It does connect out to Mercy Woods in RI that could be it because Mercy is creepy too! It’s also rich in history,
Native skirmishes during king Phillip’s war and George Washington marching through.
You can even walk under the highway here if you don’t mind walking through a large dark scary pipe tunnel!
Is Bigfoot in here? I don’t know but he could easily live here undetected. He has been sighted in connected forests! It’s very dense here, and he certainly has everything he needs to sustain him here, and a green corridor for miles to travel through. You could walk all day out here on the weekend and still see no one! But I can’t stress enough on paying attention because it’s all dense and rocky looks the same in a lot of areas!!

A Bigfoot and beyond blogger and Nature Photographer from New England. I spend a majority of my free time in the woods exploring for any signs the hairy man has been around and snapping some pics along the way. So if you’re following this blog, you’ll be the first to know if I see him...
