“I’m an Indian and I had relatives living in Arizona, I used to visit them every summer when I was a kid, and it always used to be fun playing and exploring there with my cousin.
They lived near the woods.
This happened in 2016 when I was 10 years old and my cousin was 16. my family and I visited my relatives to see their new cabin which was built in the woods, not too far in the woods but at the edge, it would take us
5-10 minutes to reach there, initially, we planned to stay in the cabin and explore woods but we cancelled it at the last time as it was heavily raining, as plans changed, my cousin and I decided to just go out ourselves to stay overnight there, we seek our parent’s permission and packed our stuff and headed towards in the direction of the cabin. “

NEAREST TOWN: Bena Federal Dam
NEAREST ROAD: Trail 2127 and 2266
While my mother and I were grouse hunting up by Bena on Sixmile Like Road in the Mud Goose Management Area we both witnessed a bigfoot.
We were traveling down 2127 from East to West and my mom said woah back up. Down trail 2266 near the bend we seen a bigfoot off the trail in the grassy ditch and it slowly moved off the trail west to east. My mom asked me if it felt like it moved in super slow motion. I concurred.
The ditch at the site was 3ft down and the grass at the side of the trail was 3ft tall and the upper torso was 3-4ft showing above the grass leaving the bigfoot to be approximately 8-10ft tall.
We drove to the spot and both noticed a strong sulfur or rotting vegetation. When I got out of the car and immediately felt all my hair stand up on my body. I checked for any sign of footprints on the road. I could not see any due to the gravel being very packed down. There was a small bit of gravel disturbed in one spot near the west side of the road shoulder.
We later got stopped by the local CO [Conservation Officer, aka Game Warden – checks on hunters]. When we mentioned what we had seen and where it was, he remarked that’s where people have been reported seeing a bigfoot. My mother and I have no doubt that we saw one.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Ontario Richardson:
I spoke at length with Jeff Stanley and separately with his mother, Suzy, about their encounter in early October. They were grouse hunting, driving slowly along Six Mile Lake Road near Mud Goose Trail.
They might not have spotted the figure down the side road if they had not been driving slowly and looking around for grouse. Suzy, the mother, spotted it first and shouted “What the Hell was that?!” Jeff hit the brakes and backed up.
Suzy had seen the giant back of what looked like a massive body. When they backed up, Jeff shouted “It’s moving”!
What they saw was the figure turn to a side profile, showing the head to the waist of what appeared to be a giant, black, creature walking into the timber on two feet.
Jeff yelled for his mom to get her camera out in case they saw it again.
They described it as hulking, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson figure with a rounded head sitting low on the shoulders. It appeared to be looking down. Its head was almost “swallowed up by the huge shoulders” from their view angle. It had solid, dark hair with a uniform pattern over its body. The arms were long and slowly swung as it walked into the woods.
Based on the depth of the ditch and height of the grass it walked through they estimated it at around 8’ tall. Although it walked upright she described it as more ape-like than human.
After it disappeared into the woods and they drove back to the spot where it was seen. They had a moment to unpack what happened before they got out and walked towards where the figure had stood. They noticed a pungent smell which they described as rotting compost mixed with musty rags. They saw small mounds of dirt pushed up on the ground, similarly to what a toe would create.
Jeff brought up to their dad that they should take some pictures of what they were seeing. His dad said he wasn’t comfortable sticking around any longer, so they returned to the car.
Later that day they ran into the Game Warden. While he was checking their birds, Jeff blurted out what they had seen. The Game Warden responded with “That is where people report seeing those”. This caught the family off guard as they were expecting him to refute what they saw.
Jeff and Suzy are both very certain that the huge figure with long arms was not a bear….
“A Traveling soul, wandering free, Roaming the world, as far as I can see. From beautiful fields to trails so steep The journey’s end, I’ll never keep. I seek adventure, I seek the old and the new, The thrill of the unknown, And the history it hides too With every step, I leave behind The past, the pain, the ties that bind I find solace in the open road In the stories shared, and the tales untold I find beauty in the simplest things, In the forest, on the river and all the songs that nature sings A traveling soul, I come and go, Leaving no trace but a short story to show I hope a peace of my spirit will live on, in every place, A memory, a dream, the wandering woman, a familiar face…”
If asked, Maryland school teacher Robert Chance will tell you about strange doings in York County and in nearby Harford County, Md.He says chickens are mysteriously slaughtered in grotesque fashion. Mauled guard dogs become more like docile puppies. Fifteen-inch tracks are found which have left unusually deep impressions in the ground. Chance’s explanation for these phenomena is a creature called “Bigfoot.” Chance gives this description of Bigfoot: About 7-12 feet tall, the creature is a two-legged humanoid weighing roughly 350 pounds. He is covered with dark or reddish brown hair, except over his face. He has a flat nose and a pointed head and is a good swimmer.
Most active at night, Bigfoot feeds on fish, poultry, roots and garbage. Chance has compiled evidence pointing to the presence of a Bigfoot in Pennsylvania and Maryland. He says there have been 237 reported sightings of the beast in Pennsylvania since the 1950s. One was reported in York County only last March. Chance claims he and Bigfoot have had two encounters.
The first was in 1972 when he was hiking an abandoned logging trail after a canoe trip on Muddy Creek in southern York County. He and his four companions were startled by several large boulders, about 50 pounds a piece, which came bouncing past them. There was no sound of a landslide, just the rocks.“I’ve never been as scared as I was on Muddy Creek,’’ Chance recalled. The projectiles came close but luckily hit no one.“I think he was just trying to scare us off. He could have hit us if he wanted to.”
Chance had read of reported sightings of Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest. The incident at Muddy Creek made him think that Bigfoot also lived in the East. Inspired, Chance checked and turned up other stories of bizarre occurrences. His quest for the beast began in earnest two years ago in Harford County, Chance was investigating a reported sighting. “I could smell something and my dogs were going crazy. I heard this rush through a thicket and this weird cry. I went and found saplings broken off waist high.” It was another close call with Bigfoot, Chance believes. He says more than 50 possible Bigfoot encounters have come to his attention this year — including several in York County.
There have been sightings in the county’s Muddy and Codorous Creek areas, he says. Tracks have been found in outlying farmland. And a truck driver says he saw a Bigfootlike creature near the Peach Bottom power plant on March 2. Scant hard evidence for Bigfoot’s existence can be found, Chance says. Strands of hair picked off barbed-wire fences have been identified as that of a primate, but not a known primate. Plaster casts have been made of footprints, Chance says. A camper with a tape recorder believes he got some Bigfoot shrieks on tape. But there are no photographs of an East Coast Bigfoot. The elusive quality that Bigfoot exhibits is a sign of intelligence, Chance says. “You can’t set a trap for it. It’s too smart. Bigfoot perhaps has retained survival instincts humans lost thousands of years ago. Although curious and powerful, the fleeting animal is afraid of humans, Chance says. That attitude, combined with thick vegetation, makes summer a slow season for Bigfoot sightings. Winter is when incidents abound because scarcer food forces more activity by Bigfoot, thin foliage makes spottings easier and snow clearly marks footprints.
The best theory Chance can develop is that Bigfoot roams the Appalachians, traveling from northern Florida to Penn-HARRISBURG and the mid-Atlantic area. Chance figures there actually are three Bigfoot animals. He guessed there may be 200 in the continental U.S.After a total of three months camping out in search of Bigfoot, Chance has come no closer than the two incidents related above. He isn’t quite sure what he’d do if he did find it.“I don’t think I could capture it because I wouldn’t know what dose of tranquilizers to use And I don’t have 20 men with a steel-mesh net.“I’ve thought I’d stand my ground and mimic what it’d do. Idealistically, I’d like it to communicate with me, although I admit that is a little far-fetched.”
An environmental education teacher at the local high school, Chance has a syndicated newspaper column in addition to being a town commissioner and environmental center director. He also works as a wilderness outfitter.“I get razzed a lot. My father can’t buy it (the Bigfoot notion). The commissioners and a lot of the people I teach with can’t buy it. You lose some credibility. But eventually I’m going to regain it when Bigfoot is found.“I don’t mind criticism from outdoorsmen,” he says. “But comments from a Monday morning quarterback who’s never even camped out in the backwoods — I get upset when they give me grief. It’s something I got to live with, I guess.”
Australopithecus afarensis, the extinct species to which Lucy belongs, could probably straighten its knee joints, extend its hips and stand up straight like modern humans…
Happy Monday everyone! This encounter was sent to me from someone in Iowa that wishes to remain anonymous…
“Alright, so this all took place in like a 4 hour time frame. I’m an avid rock Hunter, and on this day I found my first arrowhead about 6 hours before this happened.
I had left and came back. my normal area was flooded out from all the rain we have been having so I thought I’d find somewhere new. It all started out normal I usually have my back to the river and as I sort rocks I toss the ones I don’t like into the water as to not pick them up again. As I do that I listen for the splash they make. So I was down on this deep river bank probably like 13-15 feet down going through rocks when I heard the same little plop my rocks make when I toss them over my shoulder. I thought to myself, that was weird but just kept on hunting. Some time passed and I was still looking when I heard what I thought was a deer running through the timber up on the bank. So I got real low in hopes a big deer was gonna come running over the side and right down on me. It was very loud coming towards me. Then all of a sudden I heard what sounded like to me, a deer running into a big dead tree and then it came crashing down. It was very loud and 100% a tree being knocked to the ground. I thought to myself did this stupid ass deer just run right into a dead tree? After that it got quite. And I just kept rock hunting not really thinking much of it and I started to walk to the bank side of the river when out of nowhere a really good size peace of oak came flying at me landing right next to me. I froze and instantly, and I mean instantly had fight or flight kick in. It was the wildest part of the whole thing was the fear I felt. I stood my ground and while I stood there shaking I was trying to make up something about it falling from above me but I heard the log rip through the tall grass on the bank above me so it had to come in at an angle. After about 5 mins I got up the nerve and I picked the branch up and threw it back. After that nothing happened. And it was starting to get dark so i got the hell out of there. Now the river was high one this day but was going down quite fast the whole time I was there. I probably watched it drop a foot or so. Anyways so I kind of just put what happened out of my mind over that night chalked it up to just a branch falling on me or something. The next morning I came back and a bit further down stream was a brand new sandbank from the river falling back so I walked over to it. I was the first person on this one no foot prints or nothing on it anywhere until I saw this one print on the waters edge that’s when I realized I probably just had a Sasquatch encounter or something. At halfway across this sand bar was one more indentation. I took a video of it. I’ll see if I can find it that could’ve possibly been another step but we’re talking like close to 20 feet apart but they were only two marks on the sandbar that had just came out that morning.
Oh ya this all happened in south central Iowa. Pretty populated area north of where I was and barely anything to the south for a long ways. Also corn was still up be easy for anything to hide in corn…”
Discovered within a 100-million-year-old river system in a portion of the Sahara Desert located in modern-day Morocco, researchers with the University of Bath have announced the surprise discovery of fossils belonging to plesiosaurs, an ancient variety of long-necked aquatic reptiles.
The discovery appears to lend weight to the idea that this small variety of plesiosaur, once thought to have been exclusively marine reptiles, might have thrived in freshwater areas as well.
What do you think about this encounter, I feel one who is shaken up and not wanting to be identified as an encounter with some credibility, his parents stated;
“I have no idea what Joe saw, but I believe that he actually saw what he says he did. Based on his knowledge of the outdoors and his surroundings, I don’t think he’s mistaken in his description.
Nor do I believe Joe was the victim of a prank. I believe Joe saw what some people call Bigfoot or North American Wood Ape.”
He had enough knowledge to know what he was looking at didn’t belong in his forest area and was clearly distressed. I wish we had more evidence such as video of location, or a chance to go out there and look for prints, but maybe a researcher from that area could try to make contact with the witness via the newspaper.
