

W. Tschernezky from the Zoology Department of Queen Mary College, published an article for Nature in 1960, based on Shipton’s snowman print. He created a model from the picture of the print and was then able to use the model to recreate the same print in the snow.
After his study of the print he determined the “Snowman was a very huge, heavily built bipedal primate, most probably of a similar type to the fossil of Gigantopithecus.”
